Seven years ago, I arrived in Ireland with a dream, determination and no professional network. Like many people starting again in a new country, I had to navigate an unfamiliar job market, build connections and find my own direction from scratch.
There was plenty of information available, but what I often felt was missing was the right personalised guidance. So I learned through experience — working, continuously upskilling and gradually building my own career.
As my journey progressed, I started seeing talented professionals around me facing many of the same challenges I once had.
I knew exactly how that felt, and I wanted to help.
In 2020, I shared a simple LinkedIn post offering free career guidance. The response was overwhelming. I received so many messages from people seeking support that I eventually had to take the post down.
What started with one post soon became countless conversations around CVs, LinkedIn, job-search strategy and interview preparation. Then came the messages that changed everything — people were securing interviews, progressing through hiring processes and receiving job offers.
Seeing their success made me realise that helping people navigate their careers wasn’t simply something I enjoyed doing. It had become my purpose.
And that purpose eventually became Shaping Success Stories.
